Verify system clock/time zone settings
In order for an ISP's abuse department to track an IP address
back to a specific user (especially a dialup user) it is imperative
that the timestamp in the attack report be very accurate.
Since your firewall obtains the attack timestamp from your
system, make sure that your system clock is configured to
the proper time zone and is synchronized
with reliable time reference.
First verify your time zone settings by double-clicking on the time display
in the system-tray, then select the "Time Zone" tab, as follows:

Ensure that the time zone selection is correct for your physical location.
Also, ensure that you enable automatic adjustments for daylight savings changes,
if appropriate for your locale.
You'll also note that this display shows you how many hours you have to adjust
from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) to calculate local time. For example, Eastern
Time is GMT minus 5:00 hours (minus 4:00 hours during daylight savings time).
Please note that all attack times reported on the myNetWatchman
server reference GMT, thus you need to convert
references made in local time to determine the GMT time
of an attack.
